- Before cleaning a TPO roof, curbs, penetrations, and other areas where water could enter should be protected.
- Rinse the surface with a pressure washer of 2,000 PSI or under.
- Clean the roof in sections with a soft bristle push broom and a TPO-safe, non-abrasive roof cleaning solution. Push the dirt you washed off toward the drain.
- Rinse the cleaning solution off with the pressure washer.
- If the roof is still dirty, repeat steps 3-4 as needed.
- Inspect the TPO membrane for any damage. Check the seams and the transitions between the membrane and other roof parts.
